Chad Warner has polled the full coaches votes after a blinding performance against the GWS Giants in Round 8.

Despite wet and windy conditions, the exciting midfielder was crucial in stifling the GWS defence and finished the match with 28 disposals and three tackles. He also hit the scoreboard in the fourth quarter - a final blow against the cross-town rivals.

In his return to senior footy Dane Rampe was a huge contributor in the backline with 24 disposals and seven marks, earning seven votes.

Star midfield lineup Errol Gulden, Will Hayward and Isaac Heeney were all recognised for their efforts, nabbing six, five and one votes respectively.

Heeney has featured in the 2024 AFLCA AFL Champion Player Votes for eight consecutive rounds (not counting the bye round) and remains on top of the leaderboard with a total 55 votes, eight ahead of Essendon's Zach Merrett (47). Gulden has also climbed into fifth spot after several consistent performances.
