The Sydney Swans side have secured their second victory of the rebel VFLW competition with a dominant 89-point victory in Round Four over North Melbourne on Saturday, April 13.

Following last week’s victory over the Western Bulldogs, the red and white once again showed their class on the way to the 17.12.114 to 4.1.25 victory.

The side saw AFLW listed players Chloe Molloy, Bella Smith, Sofia Hurley and Alice Mitchell named to play their first games of the competition and their addition to the line up was fruitful.

Smith, alongside teammate Cynthia Hamilton, had a game high three-goals and seventeen disposals and two tackles.

Molloy kicked off proceedings for the afternoon, kicking the side’s first goal in the opening minutes, before finishing with two majors, nineteen disposals, three tackles and two clearances.

Hurley finishing with seventeen disposals, four tackles and two clearances.

Laura Gardiner once again found plenty of the football with a game high 34-disposals and a goal, while young star Montana Ham backed up her five goal performance to finish with 21 disposals, five tackles and four clearances.

Goals were split between Smith (3), C Hamilton (3), Molloy (2), VFLW train on Brooke Bailey kicked two majors while Aimee Whelan, Tanya Kennedy, Kiara Hillier, Lexi Hamilton, Gardiner, Holly Cooper and Montana Beruldsen also hit the scoreboard.

The Swans VFLW side will host Casey Demons at Blacktown International Sports Park on Saturday, April 20, 1:05pm in Round Five.

All matches in the 2024 rebel VFLW season will be live streamed free via the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and VFL App.

The 2024 NAB AFLW Season will commence during the final week of August, with opening round set to coincide with the AFL season's pre-finals bye. The countdown to the side's official pre-season begins on Monday, June 3 but players have begun returning on their own accord to begin their preparations ahead of the 2024 season.
