“He has shown us enough promise as a good sized outside midfielder, so we look forward to seeing how he progresses with a full preseason under his belt.”??

New South Wales scholarship holder Daniel Robinson has been added to the Swans’ rookie list for 2013.

Robinson, who is preparing for his Year 12 exams, told sydneyswans.com.au that it was a dream come true to land a spot on the Swans’ rookie list.??

“I’ve been here for the last three years on a NSW Scholarship and it’s ended up more than perfectly.??

“I’m looking forward to playing and training in a professional environment and just focusing on footy rather than having to balance everything, so it will be exciting.”??

Beatson said Robinson was one of the standout performers in this year’s state championships.??

“Daniel was one of the better players for the NSW/ACT RAMS during the under-18 competition and impressed us as an inside midfielder.”??

As Robinson is a scholarship player, he can be rookie-listed without going through the rookie draft.
