The captains have had their traditional media call in Melbourne on the eve of the AFL season, with Swans co-captain Kieren Jack urging fans to get behind the team as they return home to the SCG.
The Swans take on Collingwood in a Round 1 blockbuster on Easter Saturday.
The match is set to mark a historic milestone for the venue, as it will be the Swans’ 350th game at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Jack says his team can’t wait to get out there.
“The eve of an AFL season is always an exciting time, but especially this year as we return home,” Jack said.
“There's no better way to start the season than on your home turf and we’d love nothing more than to be playing in front of a stadium packed full of our passionate red and white fans.”
