Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by the devastating bushfires across Australia.
We share in the nation’s heartbreak and extend our gratitude to the brave volunteers and emergency services who are working tirelessly to protect and support communities.
To help communities get through the disaster and rebuild we are proud to be donating $50,000 as part of the AFL industry’s donation of $2.5 million. It follows last month’s $5000 donation to Blaze Aid from the Sydney Swans Foundation.
State of Origin
Sydney Swans players will come together with players from across the competition for a State of Origin match next month, with all money raised to support communities in fire affected areas.
Sydney Swans coach John Longmire will coach the All Stars while Richmond coach Damien Hardwick will coach Victoria in the match at Marvel Stadium on February 28.
You can help: Foodbank NSW & ACT
We are also collecting donations of non-perishable food and other essential grocery items for Foodbank, who are delivering essential supplies to those impacted by the fires. We have been in direct contact with Foodbank and they are accepting donations of the items listed below.

Other support
Last month Swans staff assisted in rebuilding fences on fire affected farms near Coffs Harbour, while our players are driving their own fundraising initiatives.
We want to help and are continuing to look at other ways to support those impacted as well as acknowledge the sacrifice of firefighters, emergency services and thousands of volunteers doing their best to protect so many communities around the country. We will provide further updates soon.
