Bye Round is here and it's anything but quiet. See what's making headlines at the Sydney Swans in this week's Red and White News, presented by 7 News Sydney.

Four more years

Errol Gulden has signed on for another four years, keeping him with the Swans until at least the end of 2028.

After establishing himself as one of the most exciting young midfielders in the competition, Gulden has commenced 2024 in terrific form, ranked No. 1 in the competition for total metres gained and 3rd across the league for inside 50s and score involvements.

Speaking in a press conference on Thursday, he said, "I'm so excited of the direction that we're heading in and the foundations we've built over the past three or four years. I'm really excited at what we can do in the next four to five years."

It's the first time the Swans have featured in the competition, providing an important opportunity to develop young up-and-coming athletes from the squad.
