With more than 40,000 footy fans expected at the first Swans home game of the season, ticketholders are urged to plan their trip and consider the transport options to avoid the heavy Friday night peak traffic.

• Public transport is the best way to get to the SCG with frequent light rail and buses running to Moore Park.  

• Travel on all modes of public transport is included in your match ticket so leave the car at home as parking will be in high demand. Simply show your event ticket or members card to transport staff when boarding services. 

• Trains and Metro services run regularly to the City where you can connect with frequent light rail services to Moore Park. The Moore Park light rail stop is located a short walk across from the SCG.  Plenty of regular route buses also make stops along Anzac Parade and Oxford Street nearby. 

• Consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire St/Foveaux St and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway to avoid the queues for transport services before and after the match. See the Moore Park walking route map (pdf 550KB) to find your way.

If you have to drive, expect delays on roads approaching the precinct as fans travel to the match in the busy evening peak. Carpool with your group as parking will be in high demand and will fill quickly. You can find real-time traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.  

Parking is available near the SCG at the Entertainment Quarter Wilson car park, grass car parks on Driver Avenue, and Sydney Boys & Girls High School car park off Cleveland Street. A flat rate event parking fee will apply.

Parking on-site at Moore Park is expected to reach capacity quickly so consider the alternative parking option outside of the precinct and continue your trip by light rail or bus.

Parking in the Moore Park precinct is available under the current provisions:

• EP2 and EP3 – Public parking on event days only ($30 fee per car). Entry to EP2 (Lower Kippax) via Driver Ave off Moore Park Road and EP3 (Showground) via Driver Avenue off Lang Road. Please check the availability and status of the EP2 and EP3 car parks prior to attending events in the Moore Park precinct. Event-specific details including car park opening times are updated on SCG event pages before each event.
• Entertainment Quarter Public parking (fees apply). Entry to the Entertainment Quarter parking via Lang Road.
• Moore Park Golf – $30 flat special event parking rate. Event parking commences 2.5-3 hours prior to the commencement of events at Allianz Stadium and/or the Sydney Cricket Ground. Parking takes place on the overflow grass car park adjacent to the Moore Park Golf Tennis Courts. Entry via Cleveland Street. 
• Sydney Boys High School – Public parking for selected events only (fees apply). Entry to Sydney Boys High School via Cleveland Street
• Sydney Girls High School – Public parking for selected events only (fees apply). Entry to Sydney Girls High School via Anzac Parade and Cleveland Street.

NOTE: Parking at all sites is limited and Special Event Clearways may be in force for surrounding areas.

All car parks have areas reserved for patrons with disabilities.

PARKING

There are a range of accessible parking options for patrons attending an SCG event in either EP2 and EP3 off Driver Ave and Entertainment Quarter car park off Errol Flynn Boulevard.

Accessible parking is available on ground level in either EP2, EP3 and Entertainment Quarter car parks.

Mobility impaired patrons can be dropped off in the north of Driver Ave off Moore Park Road and in the south off Driver Ave off Lang Road which is the closest location to the SCG.

Arrangements for picking up mobility impaired patrons must be made prior to the match ending. For those wishing to pick up persons, please make contact with the Greater Sydney Parklands Rangers and/or NSW Police on the night who will be able to assist.

ENTRY

Patrons attending a SCG match, accessible gates are located at Gate A, D and E off Driver Ave and Gates F and G off Moore Park Road, down Paddington Lane.

• Brewongle lift: Enter the ground through Gate E. On the left as you come through Gate E enter through glass doors with a sign above ‘Brewongle Suites & Boxes, Churchill Boxes, Club SCG.’  
• Churchill lift: Enter the ground through Gate E. Turn right after the escalator. Clive Churchill lift is the first you see through glass doors. 
• Victor Trumper lift: Enter the ground through Gate E. Turn right after the escalator. The Victor Trumper lift is behind the Clive Churchill lift. 
• Bill O’Reilly lift: Enter the ground through Gate E and go straight ahead to the green wall. Follow the green wall toward bay 25. There will be an SCG staff member who can direct you through the tunnel to the O’Reilly stand. 
• MA Noble lift: Enter the ground through Gate A. Follow the path behind the members pavilion to the MA Noble Stand. Enter the atrium and the lifts are to the left of the stairs and escalators.

Sydney Swans are dedicated to providing a fun and safe Macca’s Kick 2 Kick experience. An announcement will be made on the day via the ground PA (during the match) if Kick 2 Kick will take place. 

No pre-paid parking is available for EP2 and EP3. Please purchase your parking pass at the parking gate when you arrive on the day.  We suggest you arrive early to avoid missing out on a parking spot. Remember that EP2 and EP3 are cashless so please come prepared.  

Entry to corporate areas of the SCG will be via the gate nominated on your ticket. Please download your ticket prior to arriving at the venue to ensure you know which gate to enter through.  For any further corporate ticketing enquiries please visit the hospitality website.

AFL Footy Records will be available for purchase (via card only) on Driver Avenue.
