During this off-season break, or over the Christmas holidays, catch up on The Bloods, presented by QBE.
In the illuminating six-part docuseries, produced by The Horde and released earlier this year, Swans fans will hear from key players in the Club’s history, who talk candidly about the big moments that shaped the Sydney Swans of today.
The Bloods features key interviews and recollections with an all-star Swans cast including Rick Quade, Barry Round, Dennis Carroll, Tony Morwood, Warwick Capper, Paul Kelly and Peter Weinert along with former AFL Chairman Ross Oakley, senior journalist Tim Lane and many more.
Starting in the dark days of the late 1980s, The Bloods uncover the furore of the move away from South Melbourne, the challenging early years in Sydney, chaotic years of private ownership and the Swans' eventual rise as a new force in the AFL, as they broke the longest premiership drought in history.
This is the Swans' story, this is The Bloods.
Along the journey, the integral role QBE has played in the Club’s history is highlighted.
