Bob Skilton and Peter Bedford are two names ingrained in the record books of the Sydney Swans.
Both are Bloods Legends in the Sydney Swans Hall of Fame.
Skilton was among the first inductees in 2009 after 237 games from 1956-1971 that produced 3x Brownlow Medals, 9x Club Champion awards, 3x Swans leading goalkicker, and being named rover in both the AFL and Swans Team of the Century.
Bedford was elevated to Legend status in 2011 after 186 games (178 for the Swans), a Brownlow Medal, 5x Swans Club Champion awards, 3x Swans leading goalkicker and being named in the Sydney Swans Team of the Century.
Next month, Sydney Swans fans have the chance to dine with the two greats of our game at the Sydney Swans Legends Lunch at Zinc, in Melbourne’s Federation Square.
Joined by special guest Mike Sheahan, Skilton and Bedford will re-live some of the great moments in Swans history and reflect on their own decorated football journeys.
It will also be a chance to celebrate a special milestone for Bob Skilton, who turns 80 this year.
