Star midfielder Dan Hannebery will look to live and learn from Saturday night's loss to Adelaide in order to prepare well for the upcoming clash with West Coast.
Hannebery, who tallied a game-high 38 disposals in the narrow defeat, 10 more possessions than anyone else on the ground, believed the intensity and pressure brought by Adelaide will be replicated when the Eagles land at the SCG over the Anzac Day weekend.
Up and running following big wins over Fremantle and Richmond in recent weeks, last year's runner-up will pose a considerable challenge and threaten the Swans' bid for a 4-1 record.
Hannebery, speaking to SwansTV post-match, declared the playing group needs to use the weekend's disappointing loss as motivation.
"We need to get back on the scoreboard," said said.
"It's a huge game, they're flying, they had a massive win (on Friday night) and we know what they're capable of.
"We need to make sure we do our homework, come out and show a really strong attitude to work.
"And, try and improve on the result (on Saturday night)."
The Swans were shown up at Domain Stadium by the Eagles last season in the clubs' only clash of 2015.
Adam Simpson's men haven't played at the SCG since 2010 - the only game at the venue in the space of 10 seasons - and travel to Sydney having only won one of the past nine encounters.
