Q. Can I travel to/from the domestic or international airport station?

If you’re travelling to, or from, the airport’s domestic or international train stations you will need to pay the airport station access fee. Event ticketing does not include the station access fee for these two stops.

When you enter or exit the train station at Sydney Domestic Airport or Sydney International Airport, a station access fee is charged, on top of your train fare. The fee is automatically deducted from your Opal card or contactless payment.

You can take the train through these stations, but if you board or disembark at one of the two airport stations, you will need to use their Opal/Credit Card, to pay the full station access fee.

Q. Does included public transport apply to all home games at the SCG?

Yes. It will also apply to any home finals the Sydney Swans might host at the SCG.

Q. Does included public transport apply to away games where the Sydney Swans are playing?

No, return public transport is included for Sydney Swans home games at the SCG only. Away game transport information will be available in the Match Day Hub of the Sydney Swans website and will always include relevant details on the upcoming match.

Q. How do you board public transport?

You simply show your mobile membership or ticket (either in hard copy or on mobile) to the attendant. It’s important to note your mobile membership or ticket won’t scan. At gated stations a gate will always be left open on event days.

Q. How do patrons who do not have public transport included in their membership or ticket access public transport?

These patrons simply use their Opal Card (or credit card on services where this is applicable) to pay for their transport.

Q. Are there time restrictions on using your ticket to get to the SCG?

Those holding eligible mobile memberships or tickets are able to access return public transport for the full day of the home match on relevant transport services to and from the SCG up until 4:00am on the day immediately following the match.

Q. What if I’m collecting my ticket at the venue?

You must be in possession of an eligible mobile membership or ticket (either in hard copy or on mobile) to access the return public transport that is included. Wherever possible, tickets should be collected in advance to avoid having to use an Opal Card/credit card to board public transport.
