When the Sydney Swans and GWS take to the field for this weekend’s Sydney Derby there will be more than the four points on the line, with the teams to contest The Lifeline Cup.

The Lifeline Cup was launched today at Accor Stadium, with football fans being urged to raise the cup, to raise awareness and raise much needed funds to support Lifeline’s important work.

More people than ever before are reaching out for help and support, and the money raised through The Lifeline Cup will support their services to be there for anyone, anytime, whatever the reason.

Lifeline is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week via phone on 13 11 14, text and online chat, to listen without judgement to any person in Australia who is feeling overwhelmed, experiencing crisis or who longs to be heard.

Asking for help is one of the bravest things people can do, while everyone can play a role by making seeking help the norm.
