Sydney Swans midfielder Justin McInerney has received the full 10 votes for the AFL Coaches Association's AFL Champion Player Award following Sydney's Round 4 victory over North Melbourne at the SCG.
McInerney racked up an incredible 14 touches in the final quarter before kicking a crucial goal in the 22nd minute to extend the Swans margin to six points and put the Swans in front.
The 21-year-old used his speed to take the game on and drive the Swans forward and finished the game with 30 disposals and seven clearances in a brilliant performance.
Callum Mills (28 disposals, 4 tackles, 7 clearances) and Ollie Florent (23 disposals, 5 tackles, 3 clearances) also polled three votes while defender Jake Lloyd (24 disposals) finished with one vote.
