Hawthorn v Sydney Swans
Monday, April 15 - 12:30pm (AEST)
University of Tasmania Stadium
Sydney Swans coach John Longmire has confirmed his team to face Hawthorn in an Anzac Day blockbuster at UTAS Stadium.
Lance Franklin will return to the team after missing last round's victory over West Coast due to a finger injury sustained in the previous round against the Kangaroos.
Longmire spoke proudly of the opportunity to play on Anzac Day.
"It's a real privilege to be able to play on these special occasions," Longmire said.
"The pre-game is a moment of reflection and the reason why you play and understanding that.
"I think that it is important to be passed on from generation to generation, and not to be taken for granted, and to remind our playing group of the privileges we get to play football on this special day."
The Swans are coming off an emphatic 63-point victory over West Coast, and will look to record their third consecutive victory.
