The Sydney Swans have made one change to the side to face North Melbourne at Blundstone Arena on Saturday night.
James Rowbottom comes into the side for his third AFL game of his career after an impressive performance in the NEAFL on the weekend replacing Kieren Jack.
Coach John Longmire said he was pleased to welcome back the youngster into the side.
“It is absolutely great to have him back in the team, he has been in good form so deserves his chance,” Longmire said.
“He has played a bit of senior footy as a first-year player so it is great to have him back in the team.”
Lance Franklin will not make the trip to Tasmania as he continues to recover from a hamstring strain.
“He ran today, ran quite well and will be running again on the weekend,” Longmire said.
“We hope he can ramp up his program and can run again on the weekend now.”
