Sydney Swans staff will be out in force at the Double Bay Street Festival on Sunday.

The annual event, set to kick off at 10am at Guilfoyle Park and surrounding streets, will present locals with doggy yoga, circus acts and 30 food stalls, while a rescue dog parade will be sure to get everyone talking.

A kids’ zone will entertain the youngsters with a petting zoo and camel rides, while Lexington Lane will treat older attendees to cocktails, wine-tasting and craft beer.

The free community event will also give Swans members and fans a chance to either register for, or enquire about, a 2019 membership.

With the 2019 AFL fixture set to be released on Wednesday, the festival will also give Swans supporters an opportunity to learn more about the draw.

And be sure to not rush off before visiting the highly popular Spin2Win Wheel, a crowd-favourite that sees a stack of prizes handed out thanks to Citi.

Swans Senior Manager – Fan Community Arna Hunt said the festival would give the Club and Sydney supporters an ideal chance to connect during the off-season.

“While we’re all keenly waiting for Round 1 of the 2019 season to roll around, the Double Bay Street Festival shapes as a perfect opportunity for the Club, members and fans to touch base during the quieter months of the year,” Hunt said.

“Whether you want to become a Swans member, explore membership options, ask about the fixture or take home some terrific prizes, you will be able to do exactly that at Sunday’s festival.

“Members and fans form a central part of the Sydney Swans Football Club and we can’t wait to say hello on Sunday.”
