We’re excited to announce singer-songwriter Wafia will perform at this year’s Pride Game on Saturday, June 25 at the SCG, thanks to Investment NSW.
It will be the second time she has performed at our home ground in 2022, after she was part of the line-up for the Mardi Gras which was held at the SCG. You can watch her performance from Mardi Gras here.
The songstress is the headline act in our line-up of DJs and entertainment. She is set to perform three songs at halftime including smash hit Better Not.
Known for her alternative pop anthems, Wafia has a unique background, being born in the Netherlands of Iraqi-Syrian heritage and now based in Australia.
The Pride Game is about making everyone feel welcome and Wafia shares a passion for creating inclusive environments.
