The Sydney Swans are thrilled to announce Volkswagen will be partnering with the club’s AFLW team, until the end of the 2024 season.
The two-year commitment will see the iconic Volkswagen logo adorn AFLW player shorts during their training preparations, and match day attire.
Volkswagen and the Sydney Swans joined forces in 2011, with both organisations committed to investing in enhancing the experience of fans.
The Swans are also pleased to announce the leading automotive manufacturer will be extending its commitment with AFL Men’s and Academy for a further two years, until the end of the 2024 season.
Over the course of the journey, Volkswagen and the Swans have worked together to bring new innovations to fans at home and in the stadium, launching the ever-popular SwansTV and the Sydney Swans App.
On match days, the Volkswagen Fan Zone featuring the Swans Club Song Car CARaoke, car display and goal kicking simulation are fan favourites on Driver Avenue.
In the community, the partnership between Volkswagen and the Swans has delivered the Volkswagen SwansFit program to thousands of school aged children, teaching about the benefits of exercise, health and fitness; while the Volkswagen Grassroots Grants program has injected more than $100,000 into local footy clubs, male and female, across Australia.
Sydney Swans CEO Tom Harley said it is fantastic to see the relationship diversify and expand into the women’s program.

Together the Sydney Swans and Volkswagen have given away 2 cars per year across programs developed to reward and engage members and the more than 1.5m fans across Australia.
