Dual Bob Skilton medallist Jake Lloyd has signed a new three-year contract extension with the Sydney Swans, keeping him at the club until at least the end of 2025.

Lloyd, who brought up his 200th game milestone in the grand final, extends his time in the Harbour City after playing 24 games in 2022, averaging 24 disposals.

The 29-year-old was originally taken in the 2013 Rookie Draft and quickly made his mark at the Swans, making his debut against Fremantle in 2014 and earning a Rising Star nomination that season.

He won the 2018 and 2020 Bob Skilton Medal as the Sydney Swans Club Champion and was the fastest ever Swan to reach the 150-game milestone.

“The club took a chance on me as a young kid ten years ago and to be signed on for another three years, me and my family are stoked,” Lloyd said

“To be a one club player for the Swans means a lot, the opportunity they gave me as a young kid to fulfil my dreams at the elite level, it really does mean a lot.”
