In under one month the Sydney Swans players will begin their assault at the 2017 season when they return to pre-season training.
The Club’s first to fourth year players are scheduled to return from their off-season break on November 21.
They will be put through a number of tests before getting to work on building their fitness base ahead of the return of their senior teammates.
The full playing group returns to training on December 5 with the return of the senior players to the track.
There will then be a three-week training block ahead of the Christmas break for all players and staff.
Head of Football Tom Harley said he was confident the players would all return in good shape.
“They have off-season programs to make sure they come back in good shape for pre-season but they are not mandated they are just guidelines,” Harley said.
“We have a really professional group of young men and given we didn’t have a lot of surgery we would expect the list to be pretty healthy come December 5.”
