Three Sydney Swans players have finished in the top ten of the 2016 AFL Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year award.

Luke Parker (86 votes) finished in fifth position, Dan Hannebery (83 votes) just three votes behind in seventh position and Josh Kennedy (69 votes) in tenth position.

Parker and Hannebery failed to poll a vote in the final round of the season with Lance Franklin being handed the perfect ten for his seven goal performance against Richmond.

Kennedy finished the season strong receiving 8 votes from the coaches to finish inside the top ten.

Geelong superstar Patrick Dangerfield took out the award finishing on 121 votes ahead of Adelaide midfielder Rory Sloane (93 votes).
