Sydney Swans 2005 premiership hero Leo Barry has been re-elected to the Sydney Swans Board.
The results of a member ballot were confirmed at the club’s annual general meeting, with Barry receiving 91 per cent of the vote, ahead of fellow Swans member Michael Kahl.
The two were the only candidates contesting the member-elected director position.
Based in Melbourne, Barry offers an important South Melbourne lens to the Board, along with providing valuable business and financial acumen.
He has been a director of the club since 2020, after a career that spanned 237 games for the Sydney Swans.
