Isaac Heeney has become the fifth-youngest player to post 100 wins for the Swans, and the ninth-quickest.

The now 26-year-old sang the club song for the 100th time after the win over the Gold Coast Suns at Carrara on Saturday in his 155th game.

But Heeney, the 40th Swans player among 1442 all-time to triple figure wins, will still have to concede bragging rights in the locker room to co-captain Luke Parker.

Parker is the youngest 100-win Swan, having been fully two years and 20 days younger than Heeney when he reached the same milestone in his 148th game in 2017.

Also younger than Heeney at 100 wins were Dan Hannebery (25 years 86 days), Vic Belcher (25/342) and Adam Goodes (26/230).

Parker was second-quickest to 100 wins in Swans history behind 1918 premiership captain Jim Caldwell, who was three games quicker.

Also quicker to 100 wins among current players were Dane Rampe and Lance Franklin (151).

Harry Cunningham is closing in on a century of wins, having posted his 97th win in his 162nd game on Saturday.

Games record-holder Goodes heads the Swans all-time win list at 216 from Jarrad McVeigh (203), Jude Bolton (184), Michael O’Loughlin and Josh Kennedy (171), Ryan O’Keefe (164), Parker (163), Heath Grundy (160), Kieren Jack (159) and Belcher (151).

Heeney is also closing on a major goal-kicking milestone, having kicked his 198th major against the Suns. He will be the 25th Swans player to this mark, and, barring a long drought, the 11th-youngest.

The great Bob Pratt was youngest to 200 goals for the Swans at 20 years 311 days in 1933 and shares with Warwick Capper the record for fewest games at 61.

Interestingly, too, the win over the Suns gave Sydney a 9-1-3 record in Round 1 games under coach John Longmire. Only Port Adelaide, with a 10-3 record, have a better record in the season-opener during the Longmire era.
