The QBE Sydney Swans Academy product Marc Sheather will make his debut as a substitute when the Sydney Swans face the GWS Giants in Round 7.
Confirmed an hour before kick off, Sheather was presented his guernsey by co-captain Luke Parker.
Ahead of the game, Sydney Swans co-captain Dane Rampe also presented Tom McCartin with his guernsey ahead of his 100th game milestone.
QBE Sydney Swans Academy product Marc Sheather was elevated into the Sydney Swans via the 2021 Rookie Draft as a category B rookie. The 20-year-old hails from the Central Coast and is a versatile medium-forward with an ability to play in the defensive line. Injury saw Sheather with an interrupted 2022 season, but he finished averaging 13 disposals from eight VFL games.
