The Sydney Swans were victorious on Saturday night with a 171-point win over the West Coast Eagles. Six star players were named in this week's coaches votes after a strong performance across the squad. 

Young midfielder Errol Gulden polled the full votes after booting three goals alongside 32 disposals and five tackles, which also earned him the Gun Shell Gallantry Trophy for best on field.

Chad Warner closely follows with eight votes (33 disposals, two goals) while Issac Heeney notched six votes after booting five majors. 

James Rowbottom, Luke Parker and Tom Hickey all earned two votes each.

Warner leads Sydney on the leaderboard and sits 16th across the AFL overall with a total 43 votes. 

The AFL Coaches Association’s AFL Champion Player Award is an award voted by the 18 coaching panels on a 5,4,3,2,1 basis after each home and away game, acknowledging outstanding effort by an individual player in a season.
