The Sydney Swans and Geelong Cats were forced to split competition points on Friday night after finishing Round 16 with a draw. Five players from the red and white impressed however, earning a nod in this week's coaches votes.
Errol Gulden topped polling with eight votes after another fantastic effort in the midfield.
The young gun finished the game with 26 disposals and nine tackles. Meanwhile, Nick Blakey was instrumental in getting the ball forward with 29 disposals and seven votes to his name.
Fellow defender Braeden Campbell earned four votes, while co-captains Callum Mills and Luke Parker nabbed two and one vote respectively.
John Longmire praised his young side in a Monday press conference. “We feel like we’re continuing the build of our young group. We have a very young and inexperienced midfield but they’re doing a great job and I said that last week," he said.
