High tea party
Sunday's annual Ladies @ Sydney Swans high tea proved a big success
Being part of L@SS is proving to be a popular choice among Swans members as it provides them with exclusive club events, a chance to mingle and network with like-minded supporters and of course talk football.
Held at the Bangarra Dance Theatre in Walsh Bay, development coach and former player Nick Davis was the MC for the sold-out event.
Davis was a star on the microphone entertaining the crowd while providing an insight into the club’s upcoming premiership campaign.
Swans players Gary Rohan and international recruit Patrick Mitchell were also in attendance, along with Chairman-elect Andrew Pridham.
For Pridham, the annual event was a great opportunity to meet the club’s L@SS members before he takes over from Richard Colless at the end of the year.
Pridham joined Davis on stage and set the club a target of 40,000 red, white and true members in 2014.
One of the benefits of being a L@SS member is the exclusive access to the L@SS-only Facebook page.
So after a memorable afternoon tea with fellow Swans supporters the ladies wasted no time posting their thoughts on the event.
“Had a wonderful day, thanks to the ladies of L@SS and of course the boys Gary, Patrick and Nick,” Sandy Carlton posted on the Facebook page.
“Just putting in my vote for Nick Davis to be MC at all future L@SS events,” wrote Danielle Arthur.
