Callum Mills to celebrate 150th game
Co-captain Callum Mills is set to play his 150th career game in a Round 20 clash with Essendon. The QBE Sydney Swans Academy product made his AFL debut in 2016 and won the Rising Star award the same year.
In a press conference on Tuesday, John Longmire describe the midfielder as a “massive competitor”.
“I remember him at 16 years of age and coming into my office and asking questions about our game plan,” Longmire told journalists.
“I walked into Tom Harley’s office afterwards and said he’d captain the team one day.”

John Longmire appeared in a press conference on Tuesday where he previewed Round 20.
The senior coach addressed the Swans’ momentum off the back of two wins. “We’re getting synergy back amongst the team and we’ve finished the games off strongly,” he said.
“…If we play good footy, we’re consistent and we play for four quarters, we give ourselves a real chance.”

Scott Gowans previews Season 2023
