U14 (born 2009) and U15 (born 2008) athletes can apply to try out for the QBE Sydney Swans Academy.
The Talent ID sessions have been introduced for the first time to provide an opportunity for talented athletes and AFL footballers who reside in a local government area aligned with the Sydney Swans Academy program.
We are testing for elite athletes/footballers who have not entered the Swans Academy in the younger age groups and have displayed high level achievement and participation with your local club or an alternative sport.
Registrations are restricted and you will be notified via SMS or email if your application is successful. Your application DOES NOT guarantee you an invitation to the session.
ATHLETE REFERENCE: To assist us with the process, we ask you to provide a name and contact details of an independent person to endorse your application. This can be your club coach, club president, key person in your club, school or sport. A parent will NOT be accepted as a valid reference.
TALENT ID DATES:
• U14 & U15 Girl - Monday, 4 September
• U14 & U15 Boy - Wednesday, 6 September
COST: $65 (if selected)
TIME: 4:30pm - 7:00pm
VENUE: Lakeside Oval, Moore Park (opposite the SCG)
APPLICATIONS CLOSE: Sunday, 20 August (9:00pm)
