The Sydney Swans women’s team will kick off their 2023 campaign against GWS in the first of two matches to be played at North Sydney Oval this season. There are plenty of ways to get to North Sydney Oval for our first AFLW match including ferry, bus or train.
Train
North Sydney Station is a 5-minute walk from North Sydney Oval. It’s serviced by the T1 North Shore Line and T9 Northern Line services.
Bus
There are more than 20 bus routes that pass by North Sydney Oval. The best stops to head to are Miller St at Carlow St or Miller St near the corner of Ridge St.
Ferry
There are two ferry stops a short walk from North Sydney Oval.
- Jeffrey St Wharf, 11 min walk
- Milsons Point Wharf, 15 min walk

Walk
One of the fabulous things about North Sydney Oval is its walkability. Whether you’re close by or taking a short stroll over the Harbour Bridge, it’s a scenic walk and you’re sure to find an array of restaurants, pubs and cafes to grab a bite to eat along the journey.
Given there are so many options, we suggest you leave the car at home as parking around the venue is limited.
