Ally Morphett has polled the full 10 coaches votes in Round 1 after kicking off the season in spectacular fashion.
The 19-year-old ruck was integral in the success of her side on Sunday and finished the match with 29 disposals, 18 disposals and four tackles. She was just one of six players to notch 10 votes across the AFLW.
She was joined by Laura Gardiner who earned six votes after displaying text book pressure in the back line with 13 tackles.
Co-captain Chloe Molloy also made the list with four votes after booting two goals - including the match winner.
The AFL Coaches Association AFLW Champion Player of the Year is an award voted by the AFLW senior coaches on a 5,4,3,2,1 basis after each home and away game, acknowledging outstanding effort to an individual player in a season.
