Sydney locked in a finals berth with victory over the Giants on Saturday night. A win against Hawthorn at the SCG next Saturday night will cement the Swans' place in the top four. If Collingwood slips up against Fremantle at Optus Stadium, the Swans could finish as high as third. Sydney have won only five of their 10 home games this year, so the fact their final-round clash is at the SCG is not necessarily a major advantage.

Coach says
"We had a good win against North (Melbourne) and we dropped away for two weeks, so it wasn't tipping off the face of the earth. We dropped away in our intensity and we thought during that two-week period we dropped too far. Then we just concentrated on getting our pressure up, and other things flow from that and I've said that consistently. That's what we needed to do, that's what we've done, and we need to keep doing it."
