WOMEN’S EXHIBITION MATCH
In a first of its kind, the Sydney Swans will take on the GWS Giants in a women’s exhibition match as the curtain-raiser to Sydney Derby IX. The match will commence at 1.40pm at the SCG. Teams will be made up of the best female players from the Swans and Giants talent zones. All players will be vying for selection in a NSW/ACT representative team that will take on South Australia at Adelaide Oval on June 5.

HALF-TIME LAP OF HONOUR – ADAM GOODES AND MIKE PYKE
Swans fans will get a chance to officially farewell recently retired Swans champions Adam Goodes and Mike Pyke when they complete a lap of honour at halftime of Sydney Derby IX.

WHITE RIBBON CUP
The Swans and Giants will play for the White Ribbon Cup. White Ribbon is an organisation that is working to prevent violence against women. For more information on White Ribbon, please click here.

BRETT KIRK MEDAL
The best player in the Sydney Derby IX will be awarded the Brett Kirk Medal, named after the former Sydney Swans captain and now forwards coach.

POST-MATCH PRESS CONFERENCE
The winning team’s coach from the match will conduct their press conference first.

There is plenty happening around the ground this evening including the Volkswagen Fan Zone, Swans Fan Dome including the Citi Spin2Win wheel, face painting plus much more. Arrive early to get involved.
