Sydney Swans forward Rebecca Privitelli has earnt a Mark of the Year nomination following her spectacular overhead grab in the side’s Round 5 clash with Carlton at Ikon Park.
With Sydney needing some late points, defender Ella Heads kicked the ball towards the goal square which saw Privitelli position herself in front of the pack and take a contested mark at a crucial time in the game.
The mark, in front of Carlton’s key defenders saw Privitelli go on to kick her fourth major of the game, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough as the red and white went down by 5-points.
