After 12 months as the Technical Director of the QBE Sydney Swans Academy Leon Cameron stepped into the role of Executive General Manager, Football in late 2023. 

Cameron brings a wealth of experience to his role at the helm of the men’s football department, including 193 games as the senior coach at GWS where he guided the club to the finals five times. He succeeds Charlie Gardiner who spent four years in the role and will remain with the club focused on legal compliance and commercial projects.
