The AFL has today confirmed that the 2024 NAB AFLW Season will commence during the final week of August, with opening round set to coincide with the AFL season's pre-finals bye.
The countdown to pre-season begins as AFLW player return to training on Monday, June 3.
The Sydney Swans will be eager to commence preparations after a historic 2023 season. In just the second year of competition the squad reached their first finals series and won an elimination final against the Gold Coast Suns.
The fixture for the season, including a Grand Final date will be announced in due course.
It was also announced this week that the Sydney Swans would feature in the upcoming rebel VFLW competition.
