Ruckman Sam Naismith has been elevated to the club’s senior list to replace injured defender Alex Johnson.
Naismith made his senior debut last season in Round 23 against Richmond at the SCG before missing a place in the Swans’ finals side.
The 205cm big man was selected with pick 53 in the 2013 Rookie Draft, but couldn’t crack the senior side in his first season on the rookie list.
Johnson has been placed on the club’s long term injury list as he continues to recover from a rare infection to his knee which has seen him miss more than two years of football.
