The Sydney Swans VFL side is set to take on the GWS Giants this week in one of three matches at Moore Park on Saturday. Damian Truslove has made four changes to the team who will appear on the SCG in a curtain closer.

The red and white will be without Corey Warner due to an ankle sprain and draftee Indhi Kirk who sustained a concussion in last week's match against Hawthorn.

The team will be bolstered by a host of AFL list players including Braeden Campbell who served as a tactical sub in last week's AFL match, as well as Luke Parker.

Parker will remain in the VFL as he continues his return for an arm injury. The veteran midfielder played all four quarters in Round 5 and finished the match with 34 disposals.

"Parker's got a great record against the Giants, we understand that but he's had nine weeks off," senior coach John Longmire explained to Sydney Swans Media in Thursday's AFL team selection.

"We want to give him the best chance to play well when he comes back in the team. He's better off playing in the VFL this week to get himself right."

Angus Sheldrick will be a player to watch this weekend after he finished Round 5 with 24 touches and 10 tackles. William Edwards also continues to be a standout.

The VFL will kick off on the SCG from 5:15pm following Sydney Derby XXVII. Members and fans wishing to watch the match will need to hold an AFL ticket and enter from Gate D. Patrons already in the stadium can remain in their seats.
