The first round of the mid-season bye is here with four teams taking a well-earned rest. That means there are just seven opportunities to climb the ladder in your own tipping competition. It's Thursday, and that means our experts have spoken.
Port Adelaide is a strong favourite on their home ground when they take on Carlton to open the round. Only Nick Davis - who's playing the comeback game - has tipped in favour of the Blues. The former premiership player will need to take a few risks to catch up to fourth place.
Meanwhile, the Geelong Cats and Melbourne are expected to take the W in their matches, while the West Coast Eagles have a chance to nab a fourth victory against St Kilda.
Submit your own tips by 7:30pm TONIGHT via the Official Tipping Competition of the Sydney Swans, presented by bitcoin.com.au to be in with a chance to climb the ladder.
