Senior coach John Longmire has named his side to take on the Adelaide Crows. Last week's winning team will remain unchanged as they play for a ninth consecutive win after an exciting victory in Round 13. 

Speaking to Sydney Swans Media the coach reiterated that while he is pleased, there are areas he'd like to improve. 

"We've got some areas of our game that we can still get better at. But we're also making sure we're consistent," Longmire noted. 

He admitted it would be a tough contest on the Crow's home territory against a strong defensive outfit. The Crows have won four games this season, going down by less than 10 points in another four matches. 

"Adelaide are really strong defensively and a lot of their game is actually quite sound. And what they're doing without the ball is going to be a tough proposition for us."

Robbie Fox will remain sidelined from the AFL as he continues to return from a shoulder injury, sustained in Round 10 against Carlton. He has however been named an emergency.

The clash will also mark Will Hayward's 150th career game, a fitting backdrop for the local South Australian.

Hayward was recruited to the red and white with pick 21 of the 2016 AFL Draft before making his debut in Round 2 of the 2017 season. The forward enjoyed a rocketing start to his career when he became the 11th-youngest player in the AFL era to reach 50 career goals in 2018.

The Swans will appear on Adelaide Oval under Saturday night lights with first bounce from 7:00pm local time and 7:30pm AEST.
