Longmire: “The vibe our crowds bring is enormous."
In a press conference earlier this week, senior coach John Longmire emphasised the impact of a full-house on home territory.
“We've been really appreciative of the crowds we've got here at the SCG this year. They've been huge and extremely vocal,” Longmire shared.
“Obviously, the vibe that our crowds bring is enormous and we hope there's another big one there on Saturday afternoon. That's been a real bonus for us…”
Injury Update
Captain Callum Mills has continued to train fully with the team, inching closer to his return. Longmire confirmed he won’t play for another two weeks.
“The conversation will be the week after,” Longmire noted to journalists.
“Hopefully he gets through the end of next week’s training in the sort of form that he trained today. Then we'll have a conversation about the week after.”
Sam Reid trained fully last week and has recovered with no complication. He will be a test to return to play on Saturday.

The AFLW squad is heading to Newcastle
The AFLW squad will take part in a community camp in Newcastle on July 6 and 7 in preparation for their third campaign.
The weekend will be a valuable experience for the new recruits. It is hoped to build the game for girls in New South Wales, with a variety of activities on offer, such as an all-girls super clinic, U9 girls gala day and the opportunity for junior players to meet and have a kick with elite AFLW players.
