Dan Hannebery was awarded a perfect ten in the AFL Coaches Association votes for his performance in the Sydney Swans 35-point win over the Gold Coast Suns at Metricon Stadium on Sunday.

The midfielder collected 30 possessions, six clearances and laid three tackles in the win, which saw him draw top marks from the coaches for the third time this season, which moves him into second place on the Swans’ leaderboard.

Gold Coast captain Gary Ablett (37 possessions, nine tackles, one goal) took out eight votes for his role in Sunday’s game, with Swans midfielder Josh Kennedy attracting five votes for his 28 possessions, four tackles and two goals in the Swans win.

Ablett’s votes see the star midfielder move six votes clear atop the AFLCA Leaderboard (63 votes), with Kennedy holding down second place with 57 votes.

Swans co-captain Kieren Jack (31 possessions, four tackles, six inside-50s) came away with four votes for his performance on Sunday, while young Swan Harry Cunningham attracted his first vote for the season following his career-high four-goal effort.
