Mills returns
Sydney Swans Captain Callum Mills will return for his first game this season, with coach John Longmire confirming Mills has recovered from a shoulder injury and calf strain.
"We sat down at the bye and worked out a six-week plan to get him up to what he needed to in a football and training sense, and he has been doing that," Longmire said in this week's press conference.
Mills’ dedication to his rehabilitation plan was praised by the senior coach with the captain returning as planned after putting in a power of work.
“We've looked through all the numbers and have seen training sessions - all that has done has backed up our eyes and what we have seen in a training sense.”

Longmire reflects on Round 17
John Longmire spoke in a press conference after our 2-point loss to St Kilda. He stated:
“Upon review there’s some elements that we need to sharpen up on. 40 tackles rarely gets it done in a game of football. Our pressure around the footy hasn’t been up to standard.”
Longmire said his side will aim to amp up pressure around the ball and focus on scoring shot accuracy in Round 18.
“We’ve had probably on average, the last two weeks, six more scoring shots than our opposition but we haven't hit the scoreboard like the opposition have.”
