Longmire on Round 19

Senior coach John Longmire shed some light on our upcoming game against the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba in a press conference.

“We’re pretty keen to keep our group together. We understand that we’ve got a big game this week against Brisbane, in Brisbane. They're a fantastic team. Last year's grand finalists," he said.

Longmire emphasised his team want to go up to Brisbane and play the best footy they can.

“We need our best players playing. But we'll make those decisions later in the week in regard to availability.”

Tune in from 1:00pm on Sunday, July 21 via Channel 7, Fox Footy or Kayo. Heading to the match? Visit our Match Day Hub for more information.
