Fan Day is coming to Melbourne

Sydney Swans Fan Day, presented by Volkswagen is coming to Melbourne this Saturday for another HUGE appearance. 

We're set to take over Marvel Stadium off the back of our Round 23 clash where fans have the opportunity to meet our AFL stars, enjoy food and drinks and kick the footy with friends.

"We're looking forward to that contest."

Senior coach John Longmire appeared in his weekly press conference on Monday to discuss Round 23. Longmire isn't underestimating Essendon who he says is a "much-improved team". 

“You saw them over the weekend, they're fantastic contests. We'll be looking forward to a red hot one against the Bombers this week," Longmire shared.

"They're a very good team, they're a much-improved team. We're looking forward to that contest, getting to Melbourne this week and having another crack at it.”

Double header in Sydney

Need your footy fix in Sydney this weekend? Good news! Our AFLW and VFL teams will be in action this Saturday. 

See our Swans VFL side in a must-win game against the Western Bulldogs at Tramway Oval from 11:05am, before the AFLW side host a practice match against Hawthorn at the SCG from 2:00pm.

The VFL and AFLW Practice Match will be FREE to attend for all fans, with the AFLW clash also live streamed on sydneyswans.com.au.

Tickets on sale for 2024 AFL Club Champion Dinner

The Sydney Swans 2024 AFL Club Champion awards night is set for Friday, October 4 as we celebrate our men's season - tickets are now on sale.

Held at the Hilton Sydney, the night will feature a sit down dinner, beverage package and and the opportunity to mingle with players and staff. The night will be capped off with the announcement of our 2024 Club Champion who will receive the Bob Skilton Medal as our best and fairest.

Injury Update

In an injury update on Tuesday it was revealed that Justin McInerney has commenced running as he continues rehabilitation from a PCL injury. He is likely to miss another 2 - 3 weeks. 

Tom Papley will miss another 1 - 2 weeks after suffering an ankle sprain in the match against Brisbane.
