Sydney Swans AFLW duo Laura Gardiner and Sofia Hurley have earnt votes from the coaches following the side’s Round 2 clash with St Kilda.
Despite the 16-point loss in wet and windy conditions, the Swans midfield pair led the way and saw plenty of the footy throughout the contest.
Gardiner continues to feature heavily with 26 disposals, seven tackles, four inside 50s, seven intercept possessions and three clearances while Hurley finished with 19 disposals, nine tackles, seven inside 50s, a game high 407m gained and a goal.
Gardiner and Hurley also earned votes in the side’s season opening victory last week.
