Two Sydney Swans players have been named in Round 3 of AFLW coaches votes after strong individual performances on Saturday.

Co-captain Lucy McEvoy received one vote for her prolific ball used at C.Ex Coffs International Stadium. She finished the match with 19 disposals and five marks, meanwhile harnessing her leadership skills to encourage the team under fierce pressure. It's the second occasion McEvoy has earned votes this season - the defender earned eight in Round 1.

She is joined by young star Montana Ham who was recognised for the first time this season, earning one vote. The midfielder, who is touted as one to watch this season, was important across the ground and by the final siren had 13 disposals, two goals and two tackles to her name.

Richmond were too good for the Swans in Round 3 with the red and white conceding 46 points. The team move forward with focus now turned to a Round 4 clash with cross-town rivals GWS Giants on Sunday.
