The Sydney Swans have informed Cooper Vickery, Harry Arnold and Jaiden Magor that they will not be offered new contracts with the club for the 2025 season.
Vickery arrived at the Swans via the 2022 National Draft. He was drafted from Gippsland Power and spent the last two seasons plying his trade in the Swans VFL team. During that time, he developed his craft on the half back flank.
Arnold came to Sydney via the 2023 mid-season draft from the Brisbane Lions. The 25-year-old was unlucky with injury, managing 15 VFL games in his time at the Swans.
Magor was taken as a rookie selection in the 2022 draft from South Adelaide. He established himself as a durable player, managing 36 games in his two seasons with the Swans VFL team, largely across half back.
Sydney Swans Executive General Manger – Football, Leon Cameron, wished the three players the very best.
“It’s always an extremely tough time of the year when we have to make difficult list decisions, and this season is no different,” Cameron said.
“Cooper, Harry and Jaiden have all made excellent contributions to the Swans in their own ways, we are extremely grateful for the hard work they have put in since arriving at the club.
“On behalf of everyone at the Sydney Swans, I wish all three boys the very best for their futures.”
