Sydney have agreed to a trade with Richmond, including forward Montana Beruldsen for midfielder Imogen Brown.
Beruldsen, a foundation Sydney Swans player, played 14 career games across three seasons.
With her first season interrupted by injury, Beruldsen went on to kick four majors, including her first goal in the red and white in Round 1 of the 2023 season, helping secure a historic first win for the club.
AFLW Senior Coach Scott Gowans thanked Beruldsen for her service to the club.
“Monty was an inaugural player that worked really hard to develop her game,” Gowans said.
“We would like to thank her for her time here and wish her well in her future pursuits.”
Brown returns home to the red and white, originally from the QBE Sydney Swans Academy.
After playing in the Swans inaugural VFLW season, averaging 13.5 disposals per game in 2024, Brown was signed by Richmond. The midfielder also averaged 21 disposals and eight tackles and kicked five goals across four matches for the Swans Coates League team in 2024.
Brown is yet to debut at AFLW level.
