Our new South Melbourne office is starting to take shape. Located a drop punt from the South Melbourne Market on Cecil Street, the office will give the Swans a new presence in our old heartland.
And just like our Sydney HQ, the new office will bring to life our partnership with 98 Gym, as Chris Feather and his team prepare to bring their unique and purposeful coaching program to South Melbourne.
Sydney Swans Chief Operating Officer, Drew Arthurson, said the partnership stemmed from a mutual passion for driving elite standards with a customer focus.
“From the moment that Tom Harley and I met Chris Feather and the team we knew that 98 Gym were the partner for us. And since the moment that we got together and established our partnership it's been nothing but great results for our members and fans and the 98 Gym members as well,” Arthurson said.
“Here at Sydney Swans HQ in Moor Park we've been working together here for two years. The results have been incredible, and so our focus was how do we bring that energy and that partnership to a new space and a new heartland in South Melbourne.”
Head of 98 Gym, Chris Feather, said 98 South Melbourne will be accessible for all.
“We've said it a few times, we're not reinventing fitness. We're just setting a new standard, a higher standard,” Feather said.
“The new members of South Melbourne can expect really high levels of coaching and programming, along with outstanding facilities and equipment in an awesome location.
“Obviously partnering with the Swans is massive for us because it shows all the hard work we've put into the standard of our programming and coaching, and the facilities and everything else that we have, has been recognised by one of the biggest sporting brands in Australia. To me that's the goal – to be recognised and respected by professional sports teams and our peers.”
The Swans new South Melbourne office and 98 South Melbourne are on track to open in February.
